Your first question might be why on earth North Wales wedding photographers are at a wedding in the New Forest? Well, as UK wedding photographers, who just happen to be based in North Wales, we naturally shoot weddings all over the UK. Also, we moved from Hampshire a little over a year ago to a place very close to the borders with Gwynedd, Conwy and Denbighshire, so the series of posts that follow are from our old stomping grounds.

Bartley Lodge is nestled in the New Forest surrounded by New Forest ponies and beautiful countryside, which is reflected in its gardens. Kelly and David were a couple full of fun and both keen Starwars fans, as you can see from some of the light sabre duelling that went on! This wedding was shot back in 2014 so was at the beginning of our journey as UK wedding photographers. Our editing and style has come on since then. Back in those days I (Matt) tended to hang back, rather than being right where the action is, which is more where I'm at today.
